I had the opportunity to live in this paradise for six months as a Leisure Time Animator for Hotel Guests. I managed to see a bit and I'm happy to share!
A few notes:
★ Don't buy excursions at the hotel! In Porto Vromi, you can buy excursions for 1/3 of the price offered at the hotel, but you have to get there somehow.
★ The locals refer to the island more affectionately as "Zante".
★ While on Zante, it's worth renting a car and exploring most of the island's attractions on your own.
★ The island is highly commercialized, so unfortunately, most places don't resemble authentic Greece. There are plenty of clubs, tourists. But fortunately, there are beautiful places that tourists don't know about, and I learned about them from the local Greeks.
★ Here's a map that presents most of the island's attractions:

One of the most beautiful places in Zante. It has stunning caves that you can enter without getting
                    wet
                    between the waves.
There are no tours to these places, and tourists are often unaware of it,
which means that you can encounter only a few people here, if any at all.
Photos taken
personally by me - taken in October, so it's not as turquoise as usual :)

This is a more well-known place - there is a beach, a bar here.
Beautiful turquoise beach, a
pool in the rocks. It makes a huge impression. There is a characteristic diving board there.
And
again, my photo taken in October.

        Azure pool in the rock.

A postcard from Zakynthos will always feature the shipwreck. It is the main attraction of the whole
island. The beaches can only be reached from the sea, by boat.
You can also view the beach
                    from
the cliff, from above - but those are two different tours.

Besides being the port from which trips to the famous shipwreck and blue caves are organized (much
cheaper than from the well-known Agios Nicolaos), there is a restaurant on the top of the cliff
                    where
                    you can admire beautiful views.
There's also a tavern in some village where Greek nights
                    with
paid admission are often organized - we have dinner, drink wine, and dance Zorba. Wonderful
                    atmosphere
and a beautiful sunset over the sea. Highly recommended! I bought such a trip at the hotel, I don't
remember where the tavern is located.

One of my favorite places. The water here is impossibly blue and crystal clear. There are
                    beautiful
                    rocky
caves, some of which can only be accessed underwater.
Snorkeling goggles are a must!
Underwater, it's about 10 meters to the bottom, and you can see everything, the entire
                    underwater
                    fauna
and flora made me spend a whole hour underwater, except for the moments when I had to come up
                    for
                    air.
This place can also be visited exclusively from the sea - often the bay of
                    shipwrecks
                    and
blue caves are included in one tour package.

A beautiful beach, one of the places from which you can depart to the bay of shipwrecks and blue caves. There you can buy much cheaper tours than at the hotel.

        Natural sulfur spa.
It's a very small beach, but popular due to the presence of a sea cave
                    with
a sulfur spring, which makes the water a true panacea for the skin. A small cove with a
                    characteristic
smell of sulfur due to sulfur springs in this location.

The largest city and capital of the island.
In this place, there is a festival and
                    celebration
on the occasion of Saint Dionisi's Day on August 24th.
It's amazing then, the whole island
gathers in this place. There are stalls, games, dances everywhere, and fireworks are launched
                    from
                    the
                    ships.

This is a tavern from which we have a view of the entire capital.
It is worth going when it
                    starts to get dark.

This is the town where I lived. I recommend Xenos Hotels: Captains, Commodore, and Admiral.
                    Captains
                    has
                    the best view.
It's one complex consisting of three hotels, which means you can eat, drink,
                    and
swim at any of the hotels.
If you go there, say hello to Tamara from me - she's a Polish
                    woman,
the wife of a Greek, who works at the reception in Captains.
In Admiral, the guys like to
                    have
fun in the evenings at the bar, pouring alcohol and then setting it on fire.
When you exit
                    the
hotels down the main street, you'll find a good kebab place on the right, plenty of tours being
                    sold,
and at the very end, a club where you can dance. It's always crowded there.

And here is our wonderful discovery. When you leave Admiral, notice that you can not only go down
                    to
                    the
main street but also go up the fork in the road leading to the right of the hotels.
It's
                    the
path where you can hike through the mountains, enjoying better and better views. Further along
                    the
trail, you'll have to go through someone's property to continue, but don't worry, the Greeks are
                    very
kind. The hike to the peak should take 2-3 hours.
At the very top, you'll reach a mini
                    tavern
where you can buy beer from the fridge. If you give the lady a tip, she'll give you the key to
                    the
church. You'll be able to enter, sign the book, and light candles. From the church, there's a
                    worn
                    path
                    - dangerous - to the summit. Attention! There you'll need to climb up the rock. Beautiful view
                    both
during the day and at night.

Beautiful beaches, there are always crowds there, although I recommend taking a drive. The water is knee-deep even after walking 10m.

And here is the second Ibiza. The most party-oriented spot on the whole island.
I remember
                    that
in the evenings the road there is completely impassable for cars because on both sides of the
                    street
there are clubs, and people just dance outside because there are too many people inside.
Fog,
music, lights - everything is played outside, the party goes on under the open sky.

Quite a famous place - a characteristic looong bridge stretching all the way to the wedding island.

Here is an island that looks like a turtle.
I recommend booking a trip from Laganas to the
island, on the way you will almost certainly encounter huge turtles, which are on the verge of
extinction. Supposedly, you can also spot dolphins there.
The trip also includes stops at
                    other
interesting places - along the way, there are caves and interesting beaches where you will
                    definitely
                    make stops.

I haven't been to the peninsula, but tourists speak highly of this place.

It's a neighboring island, which can only be reached by boat. It is said to be one of the few
                    islands
that has preserved the beauty of ancient and wild Greece. There are few tourists there.
It's
worth visiting because of the beautiful caves that you can enter with small boats. Trips to
                    Kefalonia
                    are full-day excursions.
