Brewing temperature: 70-80°C
Fermentation level: Coffee undergoes a fermentation process during the drying of the beans after harvesting. However, the fermentation level in coffee is much lower than in the case of tea. This process is crucial for developing the characteristic flavors and aromas of coffee beans.
Production process: Yerba mate leaves and twigs are dried and ground, then prepared for brewing.
Color: Coffee beans themselves are usually green. However, after the roasting process, which gives them a brown color, coffee takes on shades from light brown to dark brown, depending on the degree of roasting.
Taste: It is characterized by a delicate, herbal flavor with a slight bitterness. It is often described as a blend of herbs, grass, and subtle fruity notes.
Caffeine: It contains caffeine, but also other compounds such as theobromine and theophylline. The stimulating effect is milder and more uniform than with coffee.
